Bob Parasiliti
Bob Parasiliti is a sports writer for The Herald-Mail who has has been around longer that Law & Order on television, the Ravens in Baltimore and any number of Washington Redskins coaches.
He is coming up on his 22nd year at the paper (bad penny theory applies), covering a multitude of stories ranging from local youth sports, to high schools, to college and pro. He usually gets signaled in from the bullpen to write features, ranging from 3-year-old wrestlers to Cal Ripken Jr. and Deion Sanders.
Bob is a Cleveland native, but has been in the Mid-Atlantic area for 26 years. He doesn’t really have a strong alligence to any team – although he watches all the locals – but keeps an eye on the Cleveland Indians (he grew up 10 miles from the stadium). He believes there is more to a game than the score.
